 March 2012 : BiotechPole Sidi Thabet participate in « Tunisia Healthexpo 2012 »
BiotechPole Sidi Thabet participated in the 2nd edition of the International Exhibition « Tunisia Healthexpo 2012 » which was held from the 1th to 4th March 2012 at the exposition Parc of Kram.
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, this edition is distinguished by the participation, under the coordination of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), a number of companies from member countries of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC). |

Inaugurated by Mr. Abdellatif Mekki Minister of Public Health, this exhaustive window of health sector in Tunisia was a platform for exchange and partnership that has highlighted the role of Tunisia as an export and investment pole in health services.
More than one hundred Tunisian and foreign exhibitors, representing eighteen countries, were gathered around health |

activities such as care facilities, pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, medical equipment, medical information, thalassotherapy, hydrotherapy, hospital hygiene and prevention. |

As part of the scientific program planned for this event, BiotechPole Sidi Thabet organized, in collaboration with Poseidon Pharma, a workshop on « Clinical Research in Tunisia ». This workshop focused on various topics including : the regulatory framework for clinical experimentation in Tunisia, the strengths and challenges of Tunisian clinical research, ethical considerations and quality control in clinical trials and the issues of Research-Development-Innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. |
