The President of the Republic announced the creation of Sidi Thabet Technopark, specialized in Biotechnology applied to Health and Pharmaceutical Industries on the celebration of the 14th Anniversary of the Change, November 07, 2002 following the visit of his Excellence at the National Institute of Research and Physical and chemical Analysis (INRAP) on November 02, 2002.
This project is part in an ambitious Program for the creation of 10 Technoparks on the entire country and of different specialities. These spaces will be an economic factor of integration and technological innovation, this through the interaction and the synergy between Research, training and innovation institutions on the one hand and the economic companies, on the other.
To confer greater efficiency to the management of Technoparks, the president of Republic decided, in 2007, the creation of Technopark Management and Exploitation Companies, with the assistance of banks and business partners concerned.
