The establishment of innovating companies is one of the valorization vectors of scientific research and an asset for the economy. International experiences showed that the companies supported by the services of an incubator show higher rates of success.
The incubator of Sidi Thabet Technopark is intended to help young promoters to overcome obstacles which could be threatening to them, and which often derive from the lack of competences in term of company of management as well as of the insufficiency of the financial resources. They are companies that would find considerable difficulties at the time of the development and launching phase without the assisting intervention of the incubator.
Objectives and Missions:
The fundamental objective is to promote the establishment of new small and medium-sized enterprises with high technological level, to support the development, the diversification and the modernization of existing companies through the creation of an "Enterprise Centre ".
And this, by fulfilling the following functions:
- To seek and promote new entrepreneurial initiatives,
- To carry out an evaluation of the projects while providing an assistance to the development of feasibility studies,
- To provide logistic structures for the establishment of new companies,

To assist the companies during management and launching phases by offering services in the following fields: organization, administrative finance, taxation, marketing, data processing, telematics, managerial training and technology transfer.
- To support the improvement of the quality of the production and the systems of production through the diffusion of technological innovation
- To put into a network small companies of the incubator and the external companies, either national or foreign.
Offered Advantages:
At a symbolic cost, the incubator companies will be able to profit from a high flow data-processing network, a connection to Internet network and a subscription at the national and international data banks available to the technological resources centre. The entire of the structures of Sidi Thabet Technopark will be cabled and connected by optical fibre, thus making possible some activities such as videoconference and remote-services.
Besides these multiple facilities, Sidi Thabet incubators will profit and collaborate with all the structures and the services present within Sidi Thabet Technopark (research centres, technological resources centres, shared facilities…). |
